Prevention Health Sciences’ over-the-counter (OTC) oncology mouth rinse has been formulated for use by patients going through chemo and radiation therapies. These treatments can result in uncomfortable mouth sores, ulcers, dry mouth, and other oral complications. This gentle mouth rinse is recommended and distributed by physicians to help soothe, alleviate, and control these side-effects, while also protecting the mucosal lining.

The highly effective formulation of low concentration hydrogen peroxide, sodium citrate, zinc, and glycerin protects and soothes. It provides temporary pain relief to irritated areas of the mouth, lips, and throat, and rehydrates and moisturizes the oral cavity to alleviate dry mouth symptoms.
Oral Health Support - The addition of soothing natural menthol and peppermint oil will leave your mouth with a long-lasting clean and refreshed feel.

This mouth rinse is safe for all ages and easy to use and administer. Early and regular use will aid in protecting against dry mouth and uncomfortable oral complications, and help in the healing process of current mouth sores and ulcers. We recommend rinsing 3-5 times a day when undergoing chemotherapy and/or radiation treatments. Adults and children ages 2 and older should gargle or swish around in the mouth for one minute, then spit out.

I got a sample of this at my cancer center. I hate the taste but I find it to be helpful with chewing, it "does what it's supposed to do!"

I used this a ton during my chemo treatments, it can be diluted with water if your mouth is extra sensitive. I used this about 15 minutes before eating and it seemed to make chewing easier.

This is a great product for anyone undergoing any chemo or radiation treatments to minimize mouth sores or other mouth issues due to these treatments. Used it during my own treatments and had no problems with my mouth.

I was recommended this by a nurse for mouth sores and man does it BURN! You have to be really careful about using this full strength depending on how sensitive your mouth is.

This is the ONLY thing that helped me get through chemo, I could not have handled the mouth sores without this and am so glad my oncologist recommended it! If you are having any mouth issues due to chemo especially this is a great place to start finding relief.
