Chemotherapy and radiation treatments can break down skin, causing pain and the possibility of infections. Showering daily with Hibiclens has been clinically proven to cut down on infections, and is particularly important to have on hand before and after surgeries, during and after port placement, as well as following radiation should any open skin issues arise.

A great option for soap for chemo patients, this skin cleanser is safe to use during chemo treatment and comes in a 2 pack of 4 Fl Oz bottles. I used this before surgery by my docs recommendation, and I still use it! I actually find it still helps and does wonders for my strawberry legs! (aka bumpy razor burn!)

Great to see so many positive reviews about this, makes me feel like I should buy it just in case! I'm going to have to have surgery and I'd rather be prepared

My skin is so sensitive. It's hard to find products like this that don't make me break out.

This stuff is amazing also for radiation burns. My skin got infected after about the 7th week of radiation and was oozing, super gross, made it hard to wear any sort of open neckline. This stuff cleared it up in just a couple of days and didn't irritate my skin any further, didn't dry it out, etc. I wish I had known about this earlier, it probably would have prevented the infection in the first place.

My son had a terrible skin infection and has been using this for a few days, it has cleared up his face considerably. I'm considering whether to start keeping this in stock regularly.

Showering with Hibiclens helps lower your risk of infection. You may need to use Hibiclens for a number of situations, including every day while your central venous catheter (CVC) is in place, before your surgery or procedure, after your surgery or procedure, if you’re in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), if you’re getting a stem cell transplant, if you have a blood or lymphatic system cancer (such as leukemia, lymphoma, or myeloma), or if you are at increased risk for infection due to chemotherapy or other situations.

My doctor recommended this product and it was completely worth it. I had some problems with my port when it was originally placed but this took away all of the pain and redness

This is the best cleanser I have ever used. I have issues with folliculitis and other skin related issues and this clears almost any type of skin ailment up within just a few uses. It's gentle enough to use daily even on sensitive areas / sensitive skin.

My oncologist recommended Hibiclens because of the antimicrobial properties. I really loved the feel of the product on my skin and found it was one of few things that didn't cause irritation.
