I'm newly diagnosed as a stage III patient and wondering what resources I should be aware of that could help me with anything from bills to side effect management, etc. I'm not sure what to expect.

You should definitely try Colontown. It will really help you alot.

My FIL said I think what someone above also said, "Colontown" was a great resource. It gives you access to hundreds of groups
Colontown FB groups is / was my go to

When my dad was diagnosed I used https://fightcolorectalcancer.org/ to start trying to get up to speed on all of the lingo. You might want to try them if you need help getting your bearings straight!
Meredith’s Miracles offers financial assistance to cover daily living expenses for young adults who are currently fighting colon cancer, not sure if this is applicable!
I found Colon Cancer Prevention Project Fighters’ Fund through a friend, which provides a one-time donation of $200 to those fighting colon cancer.

Colon Cancer Alliance crisis financial assistance fund provides help with household bills, childcare, transportation costs, or food.

Colontown is a group of 150 or so "secret" facebook groups that allow you to connect with others at the same place in your health journey. It has been a tremendous help to me and many friends I have developed from it.
