I lost all of my hair, eyelashes, and eyebrows during chemo, but I'm starting to see some signs of regrowth. What are the best vitamins or supplements to take that will help promote faster growth? I've waited long enough!!

I've heard of Nutrofol as well. I too suggest the Biotin shampoo!

Zinc has worked well for me! Best of luck!

I've used Biotin shampoo with a lot of success! My hair has always been thin!
I love the Pure Genomics brand of vitamins, my doctor recommends them and they actually sell them at my cancer center. I've been taking their hair / skin / nails multivitamin, and am really happy with it. Feels like I have a little more energy too.

Any time you're buying a supplement watch out for the amounts of active ingredient, and also try to get capsules that are vegan. Capsules that are vegan or vegetarian are by definition all-natural, easily absorbed in the gut, and do not pose any health risk to you if you consume them regularly.

Nutrofol is pricey, but to my knowledge it's the only supplement that has clinical trial data specifically around hair regrowth. This is a great item to put on your wishlist and allow your friends and family to crowd fund for you!
Someone who had been through chemo before recommended Nutrofol to me. It's expensive, definitely the priciest of the options I found on the market, but it had a ton of great reviews and is working for me as well. I definitely recommend it if you can afford it.

I used a biotin shampoo, which are pretty easy to find. I think I got mine on Amazon.

A few supplements you can consider are biotin, zinc, vitamin C and folic acid. These are the building blocks for your hair and can help offset some of the negative effects ongoing treatment, like Tamoxifen or Lupron, can have on hair regrowth. Itβs a nice boost for your hair post-treatment as long as your oncologist is okay with it!
